Exciting times at the Videology Co

It’s been an exciting three months since we started paying rent at our new office. I’m not sure what to think of where we are. I’m amazed that we’ve gotten as far as we have in such a short time, but also asking myself “are we there yet?”, if that makes any sense.

From what I hear, we’re fairly average, if not ahead of the curve; we have prospective clients, and interested investors.

In a personal sense, I’ve come a long way in 104 days. Professionally, this project is the culmination of everything I’ve done and studied over the last decade. I’ve dabbled in media production, biomedical technology, communications, and business development, and The Videology Company is all of that.

I’ve discovered a love for networking. The biomedical technology scene around Boston is nothing short of incredible. I like to think of myself as fairly knowledgeable about the state of healthcare; but to put it one way: I’ve met people building things I didn’t know we needed. I’m not an engineer, but to be two steps from the cutting edge of healthcare innovation is heady stuff. Hearing the stories from some of the bravest and most brilliant people I’ve ever met.

And there’s a lot of work left to do, and not just in a trivial sense. In a concrete sense, it means things like picking up Adobe Illustrator, and learning to evaluate catering companies.

I’m looking forward to it.
